Visual theater work without text based on body figures, objects. Hands as creative raw material.

SHOW SELECTED FOR THE IN PROGRAMMING OF THE FESTIVAL MONDIAL DES THÉÂTRES DE MARIONNETTES - CHARLEVILLE MÉZIERES 2023.

The work is built from working hands, their movements, tensions, rhythms and skills inherent to the trade or task, give rise to the creation of each scene.

Each story proposes a different language, with a particular poetics and diverse ways of telling, each one imprints a pulse, a rhythm, an aesthetic, a certain plasticity at the service of dramaturgy. Universal, deep, human concepts are raised, such as fear, loneliness, paranoia, machismo, violence, overinformation, power, work, acceptance or not of ourselves.

Scenes that start from borrowed hands: each trade will lend its characteristic hands and objects to create without saying a word, moments loaded with symbolism and current content will be composed, from simplicity, humor, absurdity, crudeness, violence, tenderness and the playful

A current and sincere statement about what we are; simple but profound stories, telling from humor, the absurd, the grotesque, the rawness, the tenderness and the playful.

Play with the versatility and possibility of changes offered by building all the characters from your hands.

The power of body language, what is said with gestures, movements, everyday, repeated, automated actions, moving the word.

The skin as a material,

hands that constitute,

bodies that are objectified,

they dislocate,

they are dis/reinterposed to create new fictitious bodies.
